Dermaroller is safe to use. It has CE approval. CE stands for Conformite Europeene which means European conformity. CE marking is used in all European documents to signify that the product conforms to the European Standards.[1]

In terms of FDA, only class 3 devices require an approval. Dermarollers is a 1. class device so it doesn’t need any approval. FDA classifies the medical devices based on the risk that are associated with the devices; hence it is classified as Class I, Class II and Class III.
